Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Jazz in Poland (Festival Network) processes the personal data of users of jazzinpoland.pl. The document has been prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

§1. Data Controller

The personal data controller is Jazz in Poland / Festival Network. Contact for matters related to data protection: kontakt@jazzinpoland.pl.

§2. Scope of processed data

We process the following categories of data: • email address (newsletter sign-ups, orders), • first and last name (if provided when ordering), • IP address and technical device data (server logs, analytics), • ticket purchase data (when carried out directly on the platform).

§3. Purposes and legal bases of processing

Data is processed for the purposes of: • carrying out orders and ticket purchases (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), • sending the newsletter (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent), • ensuring the security of the platform and analytics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest), • fulfilling legal obligations, e.g. tax (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

§4. Retention period

We store data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, and then for the period required by law (e.g. accounting). We store the email address subscribed to the newsletter until consent is withdrawn.

§5. Data recipients

Data may be transferred to entities processing it on our behalf, including: hosting provider (Vercel), database operator (Supabase / our own k3s infrastructure), email delivery operator, external ticket sales system (biletyna.pl) — only to the extent necessary to provide the service.

§6. User rights

You have the right to: • access your data, • rectify, erase, or restrict processing, • data portability, • object to processing, • withdraw consent at any time, • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

§7. Cookies

The platform uses cookies to ensure proper functioning, remember preferences (including the selected language), and traffic analytics. You can disable cookie support in your browser settings at any time — this may, however, limit some platform functionality.

§8. Data transfers outside the EEA

Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

§9. Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. We will inform you of significant changes on the home page or via the newsletter.
